Corporation Commissioner inspects civic works in Ward 8

Corporation Commissioner Dr K Vijayakarthikeyan today inspected various civic works being carried out in Ward 8 at Krishnammal Layout and KK Pudur areas under the West Zone.
He also made surprise checks at several houses in the area and advised people to ensure that there was no water stagnation and this prevent breeding of mosquitoes.
The Commissioner also asked sanitary workers to maintain and clean drainage lines regularly.
He poured abate liquid in water bodies for pest control and gave ‘nilavembu kudineer’ to the people as one of the precaution against dengue fever.
