Counterfeit auto parts racket busted in Coimbatore

Greaves cotton limited intensified a nationwide initiative to curb the sale of counterfeit auto spare parts sale, with the help of law makers.
In Coimbatore, the company filed a complaint with the law enforcement agencies exposing a huge network dealing with duplicate auto spare parts in the city.
The officials conducted consequent raids seizing 4445 duplicate auto spare parts from Amba Bearing, Sampath Auto Mobiles, R C Auto Centre, Lomesh Automobiles and Agath Ranga Auto Spares in Coimbatore on 21st February 2019.
Commenting on this exercise, Neeraj Sharan, President- Aftermarket Business, Greaves Cotton said, “The manufacture and sale of spurious spares is a matter of concern for the industry. We are committed towards protecting our customers from using these spurious parts and recommend usage of only genuine spares from Greaves.”
