Dalit Sena activists seek free house sites for downtrodden

Members of Dalit Sena today staged a demonstration in the city demanding, among other things, free house sites for the downtrodden and Dalits.
The activists, including 20 women, led by its President, Pushpanandam, raised slogans in support of their demands during the demonstration held at South Taluk office, police said.
Other demands include regularisation of services of sanitary workers working on contract basis for the City Corporation and immediate issuance of rations cards to SC/ST community, which has been pending for the last few months, particularly in South and North Zone offices.
