Daycare centre to be set up at CMCH

The Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital has announced its plans to open a daycare centre for working parents with toddlers and infants.
In a majority of homes in Coimbatore, both the parents are working in order to make ends meet. Very often their children are left at the mercy of the neighbours or friends. The CMCH announcement is expected to bring a huge relief to such parents.
CMCH will soon start its in-house daycare centre at the hospital premises located on Trichy Road. The Dean of Dr Edwin Joe, CMCH said that starting a daycare centre has been on his mind for a long time now.
“If everything falls in place, the daycare centre will open its doors to the public this week. We are waiting for uninterrupted power supply. Once this is sanctioned, we can go ahead and inaugurate the project. Several members of the public will be able to take advantage of this daycare centre,” Dr. Edwin Joe, Dean, Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital said. He added that the centre is being started with an aim to serve the masses.
