A conference for protecting the cultures and traditions is being organised this evening in Coimbatore by the Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi under the leadership of the party General Secretary E.R. Easwaran.

Mr. Subramaniam, the Travel Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, who attended the conference, told the media that the foreign tours of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has helped in improving India’s relations with other countries. He said that the Malaysian Prime Minister is ready to visit India if he is invited either by the Prime Minister of India or the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The visit, he said, could bring in lot of investment to India.

He pointed out that the people of Malaysia wanted an international inquiry into the genocide that took place in Sri Lanka.

Subramaniam further informed that a conference of the Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi will be held in Malaysia in July 2016, which will be attended by the Malaysian Prime Minister.
