Denied money to buy liquor, 28-year-old kills self

A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his house as he was denied money to buy liquor.
According to police, Pradeep, son of Moorthi, used to frequently quarrel with his mother Paapathi under the influence of alcohol. Two days ago, he demanded money from his mother, which she refused.
Frustrated, Pradeep hanged himself using a nylon sari from the roof of his house. Following a complaint, Negamam police registered a case on Tuesday under Section 174 of CrPC and are investigating.
