Central govt orders extension of CBI Director Praveen Sood’s tenure for another year
The United Planters Association of Southern India (UPASI) has elected N. Dharmaraj as its President for 2015-16. The elections were held at the association’s 122nd Annual General Meeting.
In the plantation business for more than 40 years, Dharmaraj is also a member of the Tea Council of South India, and a core committee member of the Tea Board of India.
D. Vinod Sivappa, belonging to a plantation family from Karnataka, was elected the vice president of UPASI. He was the Chairman of Karnataka Planters’ Association.
