Kottayam: Incarcerated actor Dileep is pinning hopes on securing bail today when the Kerala High Court will take up his application in which he has blamed ADGP B Sandhya and film personalities.

Dileep said that Sandhya had questioned him without the knowledge of Crime Branch IG Dhinendra Kashyap.

He said she had switched off the cameras while he made depositions about his ex-wife Manju Warrier and director Sreekumar Menon. Some top film personalities were also behind the conspiracy to trap him, he added.

He said he had informed the DGP about the prime accused blackmailing him through WhatsApp audio clipping. Despite this a case was not registered. He reasserted that he had never seen prime accused Suni.

Dileep was arrested on July 10 on charges of plotting abduction and sexual assault of young South Indian actor in a moving vehicle on February 17.This time the actor has moved the bail through a new lawyer Raman Pillai replacing noted lawyer B Ramkumar whose attempts to secure him a bail from the magistrate and the Kerala High Court had failed.
