Kottayam: In a sensational twist to the actor abduction case, actor Manju Warrier, ex-wife of accused actor Dileep, is likely to turn prime witness against Dileep in the case.

Significant information pertaining to the differences between the actor couple have been collected by a team headed by ADGP B Sandhya.

The role of the victim in exposing relationship between Dileep and actor Kavya Madhavan led to the end of their married life. This is said to have provoked Dileep to turn against the victim.

It was after collecting important details from Manju that Dileep and his close actor friend Nadir Shah were questioned for 13 hours which led to subsequent arrest.

Though police have access to the memory card containing video recording of the actor, the cops are not able to recover copy of it from accused Pulsar Suni’s former lawyer Pradesh Chacko’s just junior lawyer Raju Joseph. Even as police have recovered a memory card from Raju, there is no data in it. Police is conducting a scientific examination to find out if the video clips were deleted.

Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail plea of Chacko is to be taken up by the Kerala High Court.
