Coimbatore : Many of the Covid-19 patients, who were discharged from ESI hospital here lauded the services rendered by the
doctors, nurses and health workers during the course of treatment.
Taking risk of their lives, the medical team used to come and inquire about the health of the patients during the day.
As far as food is concerned, the patients were served milk at 7 Am, followed by tiffin comprising idli, dosa and pongal around 8.30 AM.
Around 10 AM they were served one boiled egg and health drink and for lunch around at 1 or 1.30 there will be white rice and curd rice, they said.
Around three to four PM, the patients were given boiled grains (sundal) and vegetable soup and chapathis in the night, they said.
In between all the patients were served with rasam. Several of them were from Tirupur and part of 23 persons, who were discharged yesterday .
Majority of those discharged expressed their willingness to donate blood for plasma test.
