District Administration to auction Rs.45 lakhs worth property

The Coimbatore District Administration had announced that it would auction immovable properties seized by its officials on June 2nd. The auctions will be conducted in Coimbatore.

The district administration had seized three different immovable properties belonging to three different persons under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, in Sulur.

The total worth of the properties was estimated to be Rs.46,32,000. The properties belonged to M. Kamaleshwari and M. Ravichandran from Tirupur, and R. Packiyalakshmi from Coimbatore.

In a statement, the district administration said that the auction will take place on Thursday (02.06.2016), at the grievance hall in Coimbatore Collectorate, under the supervision of the Revenue officials.

“Those interested can also inspect the properties before the auction,” the statement said.
