DMK MLA visits Bhavani river area where Kerala is constructing check dam

DMK MLA, N Karthik today visited the area, where Kerala government is constructing check dams across Bhavani River, the lifeline of three western district in Tamil Nadu.
With various political parties condemning Kerala for constructing the check dam at Manjakandi, blocking the river waters to Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode districts, Karthik, representing Singanallur Constituency in the city, went to find fact abut the issue.
The facts will be presented to DMK working president, M K Stalin and on whose advise the party will take future course of action, including demonstration.
