DSK Benelli; an Italian based super bike company, is keen on spreading its dealership and market in India by selling more than 4500 bikes in 2016, said Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman of DSK Motowheels.

Briefing the media on Friday at the inauguration of its Coimbatore outlet, the company’s 17th in the country, Shirish said that the company had successfully sold around 2400 bikes in 2015, which had made them look into the future with an ambitious mindset.

“Our target is to open 35 outlets in the country by the start of the year 2017, which is very much possible with the pace at which we are moving now,” he said.

He further added that while the company has identified 20 new locations to set up new outlets, search is on for 17 other cities. “We have also planned to open outlets in the southern cities like Mangalore, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, and Madurai. But these are locations chosen in the long term run, and not immediate destinations,” he added.

As many as five superbikes from the company were on sale at the showroom, including the TNT 25; TNT 300; TNT 600i; TNT 600 GT, and TNT 899, ranging from Rs.1,77,000 to Rs.12,07,000.
