Eid-ul-Fitr special prayers offered at Coimbatore

The holy month of Ramadan concluded yesterday, on July 7. The Muslim community celebrated the occasion with Eid-ul-Fitr. Several Muslims from Coimbatore gathered at the Islamiyah Matriculation School grounds, Karumbukkadai, and special prayers were offered. About 10,000 Muslims, including women, offered their prayers for world peace and communal harmony.
Abdul Gafoor, Imam of Masjidhul Huda, led the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. M. Mohammed Ismail Imdhadi delivered a special address. In his brief talk, he brought out the connection between human rights and the spiritual celebrations guided by Islam.
