Entry of 5-ft snake triggers panic in school

Sudden appearance of a snake in a class room triggered panic among the teachers and students of a Panchayat Primary School in Valparai in the district, today.
As the teacher was taking lessons, a five-ft snake made its entry into the classroom around 1.30 p.m. Hearing the screams, teachers and students in the nearby classrooms ran out to safety.
On information, a Forest Department personnel rushed to the school and managed to catch the snake and released it in the jungle.
