Faculty development programme for college teachers conducted

The ICT Academy recently organised a faculty development programme – Choosing Scholarly Journals and Guidelines to Publish Scientific Articles – at the VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science here.

The focus was to enrich the teaching faculty with the current trends on the methods of choosing and publishing articles in scholarly journals. Various interactive sessions were held to increase the research skills of faculty members and they were encouraged to make original contribution to research and publishing their research. “The programme is organised to increase the
spirit of research and publishing it in erudite journals to faculty members,” said Dr. N. Rajkumar, principal of the college in his welcome address.
