Fire breaks out in cordite factory, one faints after inhaling smoke

Ooty : Fire broke out in the Gun Cotton section of Cordite factory at Aruvangadu near here today.
Pratap, one of the five employees working in the section, suffered breathlessness and fainted after inhaling thick smoke and admitted to the factory hospital, police said.
The fire fighting department in the factory put off the fire and prevented it from spreading.
The reason for the fire is being ascertained, they said.
