It is not just about the advancements in medical science, lives can be saved only if the ambulance services are swift and easily maneuver the traffic congestions on the streets. This is critical in cases of accidents and emergencies, where treatment or first aid should be provided well within the golden hour.

If proper medical attention is given at this period of time, a life can be saved or the severity of the injury can be minimised.

Tiruppur district’s bike ambulance service was launched by Tirupur Ladies Circle 44 and Tirupur Round Table 116 recently and this was donated to Dr. Eshwara Moorthy and his team at Revathy Medical Centre.

The Ambulance was flagged off by Commissioner of Police S. Manoharan of Tiruppur district.

Chairperson Kavitha Jenarthanan told The Covai Post, through this bike ambulance service, a paramedic will be able to arrive at the location and navigate through smaller streets or rural areas and reach the doorsteps of the needy and provide first aid. She added that this bike ambulance is equipped with necessary medical equipment to save one’s life.

Citizens in and around Tiruppur district, can call 9842209999 to avail the bike ambulance service at the time of emergencies
