Five held for burglary

Five persons, including three women, were arrested today when they were about to burgle a house in Singanallur.
Police, during their rounds, noticed the five standing in front of the house at 3 a.m. Suspecting their movements, police interrogated them, during which time they admitted of their plans to break open the house. They were immediately arrested.
The five, led by Veerabadhran, have more than 30 cases booked against them. Police recovered knife, iron rod and chilli powder from them.
