Four of a family die in a road mishap

Four members of a family were killed in the early hours of Tuesday when the car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a lorry near Palladam, in Tirupur district.
The family was returning from Rameshwaram to Tirupur when the accident occurred at Moolampalayam around 5 AM. The deceased were identified as Murali, owner of hosiery manufacturing unit; his brother Ramesh; and cousins Balaji and Vishnu. All were killed on the spot.
Investigations are on.
