Four sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering couple

UDHAGAMANDALAM: The Mahila Court here has sentenced four persons to undergo life imprisonment for murdering a couple over a vehicle parking issue some four years ago.
The judgment was delivered by Judge Muralidharan around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
The prosecution case was that the couple Sankar and Prema had problems with their neighbours over parking their vehicle in front their house.
On April 14, 2013, a quarrel broke out between the neighbours during which time four persons attacked the couple with iron rod and wooden piece, leading to their death.
The case was going in the Mahila Court and Muralidharan awarded life sentence to Arul Das, Franklin, Jayakumar and Krishnamurthy, involved in the attack and murder.
