Ganja peddler nabbed

Two men were arrested by the police in the early hours on Saturday for selling ganja.
According to sources, the Singanallur police caught the two men near a private mill at Ondipudhur around 9.45 am. On investigation, they found that the men were selling ganja. The accused were identified as M. Murugan (47) and S. Jayaganesh from Theni district.
Police recovered 540 grams of ganja, Rs.25800 in cash, two cell phones and a motorcycle. A case was registered and the accused were remanded in custody.
