Gem Hospital launches 4K laparoscopic camera

In what is claimed to be first of its kind, Gem Hospital has launched a special 4K, eight mega pixel laparoscopic camera to help in accurate surgery and also to get inputs from doctors from outside through live telecommunication.
Using this camera, a surgery done at the hospital was relayed to the University of Hong Kong for an advanced training course at the Minimal Access Surgery Training Centre (MASTC).
