Global Art organises Kolor Champ

More than 350 children participated in the regional competition of the ‘Kolor Champ 2016’ here yesterday.

Organised by Global Art, a unit of SIP Academy India, the competition saw children in the age group of 5 to 15 years from Coimbatore, Gobichettypalayam, Erode, Salem and Tirupur and displayed their talent in creativity and painting.

S. Roshan of Bhavani in Erode was declared champion in the five to six year age group. In the 7 to 9 age group, G.N. Amritha Vishakan of Erode was declared champion, while in group of 10 to 12 years, Varshasri from the city was the winner and Preethika from the city was declared winner in the 13 and above age group, a Global Art release said today.

Launched by SIP Academy India in 2005, the Global Art programme is a one-of-its-kind international creative art program for children (5–15 years).

The Academy was started in 2003 and been successfully running skill development programs for children for the last 13 years. SIP has over the years enriched 3. 50 lakh children across 21 states.

As of today, Global Art has presence in seven states with over 130 centres and benefited over 43,000 children.
