‘Go Green’ Chutti Krishnas’ appeal to society

A Chutti Krishna contest, with the theme ‘Go Green’ was held here today for kids kids between three and six years of age.

Hosted by the Brookefields Mall for the sixth consecutive year, the contest saw more than 80 children dressed colourfully with a clear message to the society.

Vathsala Jaganathan and Gokila Subbian of SNR Sons Charitable Trust were judges.

The little ones spread messages on protecting greenery and environment, the 3 Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle, discarding plastic and so on. “This is our planet. We have the power to save it. We must not waste water and electricity. We must not cut trees. We must go green.” K. Antony, one of the participants said.
