Gold chain snatched from 52-year-old woman

In another incident of chain snatching, three unidentified persons had reportedly snatched a one-sovereign gold chain from a 52-year-old woman near Pelamedu, in Coimbatore, on Friday.
According to police, the victim, C. Revathi, is a resident of Pioneer Mill Road at Peelamdu. She was returning from work when the three culprits, on a two-wheeler, attacked her and looted her gold chain. They escaped before the public could stop them.
A case has been registered with the Peelamedu police, and investigations are on.
