Governor’s address a mere ritual: Krishnasamy

Puthiya Tamizhagam president K. Krishnasamy has termed the Governor’s address as a ‘mere ritual without any concrete stuff.’
“He just read the statement prepared by the AIADMK government,” he told a press conference.
Stating that all the political parties have been demanding a legislation to prevent honour killing, following the killing of a Dalit youth in Udumalpet, he said there has been no mention about it in the address. “The Governor also failed to point out the increasing incidents of human rights violations in the State,” Krishnasamy alleged.
