Grand Navratri celebrations at Linga Bhairavi

Hundreds of people gathered to worship the devi at the Linga Bhairavi today. As is the annual practice, this year too Linga Bhairavi is geared to celebrate the Navratri festival for nine days.
The day was lit up by a much appreciated therukoothu performance by Murugaiyyan of Muthamil Kalai Mandram.
Beside cultural events, special poojas, aartis and food offerings for visitors and volunteers are also scheduled.
