Habitual chain snatcher detained under Goondas

Coimbatore : A habitual chain snatcher was on Sunday detained under Goondas act.
The 23-year old Riyazuddin was arrested in connection with chain snatching cases in and around the city and lodged in the Central prison a month ago.
Considering this track record of his involvement in various chain snatching and robbery cases, the City Police commissioner, Sumit Saran ordered his detention under Goondas act, police said.
The order was served on Riyazuddin in the jail.
