Haryana is leading with a combined team points of 77 in the 32nd National Junior Athletic Championship which began here today, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 48 and Kerala with 45 points.
While the Delhi team has 42 points, hosts Tamil Nadu has 34 and Punjab has 30 points in the five-day championship, in which 21 state teams are participating.
Other teams scored below 19 points, with Andhra Pradesh scoring only one point in the events, organised by the Tamil Nadu Athletics Association.
