On February 20, Headstart Network Foundation will organize an interactive session in Coimbatore between wannabe entrepreneurs and those who had made their entrepreneurial dreams come true.

Coimbatore for the rest of Indian and the world is known for its spirit of entrepreneurship. Different categories of entrepreneurs continue to emerge from this city. Lending such start-ups a helping hand to do well is Headstart Network Foundation, an organization established in 2008 with the aim of mentoring start-ups.

As part of Startup Payanam, Headstart Network Foundation will give students who wish to be entrepreneurs an opportunity to visit the various start-up offices in Coimbatore city and come face-to-face with the entrepreneurs.

A release from this organization stated that the bus trip will be flagged off at Gandhipuram on February 20. It will make a pit stop and visit seven start-up ventures in Coimbatore city. “One must go through rough roads, narrow road, speed breakers, and traffic signal to reach the destination. It is not about the destination after all, it is the journey that matters. Startup Payanam is a journey to meet and learn from experts before one starts his/her payanam (journey),” Ebin Ephrem Elavathingal, of Headstart Network Foundation, said.

With the Startup Payanam, Headstart Network Foundation aims to get the aspiring entrepreneurs experience the real world of start-ups. The organizers are hoping that the aspiring entrepreneurs will get a glimpse of the challenges, strategies, problem solving and experiences that the entrepreneurs go through. “This is an honest effort by the start-up community to inspire and educate aspiring entrepreneurs for the overall benefit of the ecosystem.” Ebin said.

Through its various initiatives like Start-up Saturdays, the organization, with its pan-India presence, facilitates entrepreneurial learning, hiring, marketing insights, and peer mentoring amongst the start-ups.
