The health condition of Sub Inspector Nagaraj, who sustained stab injuries while nabbing a chain snatcher in Hosur and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital, is normal now.

Nagaraj was admitted to Gem Hospital for surgery to treat an intestinal cut sustained in the knife attack. He has now totally recovered, and will be discharged in a day or two, chairman of the hospital, Dr. C. Palanivelu told reporters in Coimbatore today.

Nagaraj, who was kept in the I.C.U. for the last four days, was present at the press conference, but he did not talk about the incident. West Zone I.G. of Police, C. Sridhar and City Police Commissioner A. Amalraj had visited him while he was in the I.C.U.
