Illegal sale: 60 liquor bottles seized

The city police have seized over 60 liquor bottles from around the district on Tuesday. The bottles were meant for illegal sale.
According to them, more than six persons have been arrested for possession of liquor bottles, which were meant for illegal sale in areas including Walayar check post, Thennampalayam, Thudiyalur and Sulur.
The bottles were seized by the police and cases were registered against the arrested persons. They were later released on bail.
