Coimbatore : Princess of Sharjah, Sheikha Hend Al-Qassei was all praise for the Indian higher education and medical institutions.

“India is no less when compared to any other country in this world in terms of Education and the rich environmental resources,” Al-Qassemi said while interacting with the students of Nehru Arts and Science College here on Monday.

“I am very proud to say that India also matches high quality in medical and education and I have seen many promising Indian students who are working to develop this country,” she said and appreciated the contribution made by Indiato the International community.

Stating that Indian talents were utilized by global companies and Space agencies such as Google and NASA, she said that in Google, 20 to 30 percent of its employees were from India.

To a question on the standard of education in India and her country, she said that in India, the education institutions are developing very fast and in Sharjah educational system is advanced and so is medical care ..

In many Arab countries, every street has CCTV cameras which reduces the crimes drastically and even in India, many city administrations have come forward to install CCTV cameras in public places which ensure the security of the public.

Stating that the Government provides free education for top ranked students in her country, she said the India private educational institutions and Universities should come forward to provide merit scholarship to the students, who earned good marks in their exams.

“Every country has problems of unemployment and poverty. India also has such problems, but Indians have capacity to overcome all problems. Now, India becomes Silicon Valley of Asia. Over last two decades, India witnessed fastest growth in IT fields. Indian should ulilize their knowledge to eradicated poverty in world”,she said.

As the princess expressed her happiness of being with Nehru Group of Institutions and promised to work together for the cause of higher education, the Institution.
