About 100 SFI activists on Tuesday staged a demonstration in the city seeking to exempt Tamil Nadu from NEET and also an inquiry in to suicide of the medical aspirant Anitha in Ariyalur.

Raising slogans against the Centre and Tamil Nadu Governments for confusing the students on NEET, the activists, majority of them women, cautioned to intensify their agitation till their demands were met.

They urged the State Government to hold an inquiry into incident leading to the suicide of Anitha.
