Journalists condemn Gowri Lankesh murder

Journalists and photographers today held a demonstration to condemn the killing of journalist and social activist Gowri Lankesh in Bengaluru.
They demanded a detailed inquiry into the murder and wanted the authorities to nab the culprits and take stringent action.
They also wanted the Centre and State governments have a legislation to protect journalists.
A similar demonstration was held in Udhagamandalam in nearby Nilgiris district.
