K Rajamani assumes charge as Coimbatore collector

K. Rajamani assumed charge as District Collector of Coimbatore here on Monday.
He was till recently District Collector of Trichy district from June, 2017. Prior to which, he served as Corporation Commissioner of Tuticorin district.
The former Collector of Coimbatore District has been transferred to Chennai as Secretary to Government , Department of Municipal Administration.
Last November during the aftermath of Gaja cyclone, K. Rajamani had inaugurated relief materials collection center set up in front of Trichy Collectorate and had contributed Rs.10,000 from his personal funds to the volunteers working for Gaja cyclone relief.
