Kanimozhi wants EC to find new methods to seize money

The Election Commission should adopt stricter methods to seize money being taken for distribution among the voters, DMK MP Kanimozhi said today.
Replying to a question on the reported seizure of Rs.9 lakhs from the van of Sharathkumar, the Samathuva Makkal Katchi leader who is competing from Tiruchendur (the party is an ally of the AIADMK), Kanimozhi told reporters that the Election Commission should find out newer method to flush out the money.
Kanimozhi is in Coimbatore to address an election rally along with Rahul Gandhi.
When asked about the grim predictions of the opinion poll regarding the DMK, she said that the party was not giving much attention to them. About the AIADMK manifesto, she said that they were trying to create a myth among the people by offering freebies.
