Mocking at the non-stop election campaign carried out by the DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi, T. Pandian, a senior leader of the PWF, said that the nonagenarian was working hard for his great-grandchildren.

“He wants to keep his family legacy alive, and that is making him work so hard,” Pandian said.

Questioning the benefits announced by the DMK in its manifesto, Pandian also asked the DMK to rate the believability of the manifesto.

“Parties are announcing things that are not possible. People should be aware of it,” he said.

Accusing the Election Commission of not being transparent, Pandian also opined that the details pertaining to the persons and parties involved in money laundering should also be revealed.

Claiming that the BJP had its own share of corruption in Gujarat, when Modi was the Chief Minister of the state, Pandian also claimed that Modi’s plan to extract oil from the banks of rivers Krishna and Godavari are “atrocious total failure,” and said that the BJP had no rights to talk about corruption.

Calling the model code of conduct as “against the working community,” he said that businessmen were using the code to sack workers.

“A private company named Thushar Machine Tools has allegedly sacked 37 workers until now. Things like this should be stopped,” he alleged.
