With failed monsoon and the fear of water scarcity gripping the people of Coimbatore, a leakage in the drinking water pipeline for more than two months near Saravanampatti has irked the residents.

According to them, in spite of several complaints to authorities the pipeline on the EB Colony Road under Ward 33 has not been repaired. As a result the road is always wet with water stagnating everywhere causing difficulties to motorists.

“It is very difficult to cross the road especially in the morning when we take our children to school,” complained a motorist.
Covai Post tried to reach the Corporation officials but in vain.
