Life sentence for murdering colleague

Coimbatore : A district court here Thursday sentenced a youth to undergo life imprisonment for murdering his college in a dispute over money, some 14 months ago.
The prosecution was that three workers of a catering firm were sleeping on the platform opposite the Government hospital here on November 24,2017 and a quarrel broke out between them over a dispute of Rs.300.
Suddenly Praveenkumar put a boulder on the head of his colleague Mohan, who died in the hospital after two days of the incident.
Praveenkumar was arrested and lodged in the Central jail and the case was going on in the 1st Additional District court.
Delivering the jugement, Judge M Gunasekharan sentenced Praveenkumar to undergo life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.1,000.
