Lifer for youth for murder

A district court in Tirupur today sentenced a youth to undergo life imprisonment for murdering a 56-year old man in Mangalam two years ago.
The prosecution case was that one Sundar Singh, giving autorickshaws on rent, entered into argument with an auto driver Kathiresan over business issue on March 2, 2015 at Mangalam in Tirupur.
Singh hit Ganesan, father of Kathiresan, who had come to settle the issue, with a wooden log, leading to his instant death.
The case was going on in First Additional District Court and the Judge, M.K. Jamuna sentenced Singh to undergo life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000.
