M.S.P. School lifts VLB Janakiammal Soccer Trophy

M.S.P. Higher Secondary School, Malapuram lifted the third edition of the VLBJ soccer trophy that concluded here at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science.
Giving away the prizes, N. Suryakumar, chairman of the college, said a team sport like football has to be developed in the country. “The cricket crazy nation has produced many stars in that field. But we are yet to produce good soccer stars,” he said.
St. Aloysius Higher secondary school and PLUS XI H.S.S from Thoothoor, Kanyakumari District came second and third respectively.
