Man commits suicide

A 49-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his residence near Edayarpalayam here on Wednesday.
According to sources, the deceased, J. Kumaresan (49) from Nehru Street in Edayarpalayam, was living with his wife K. Sasireka (38), daughter K. Janapriya (20), and son K. Prabhu (18). He was a drunkard and often quarrelled with his family members.
On Wednesday, he picked up a quarrel with his wife. She then left for work. When the daughter, Janapriya, arrived, she found that Kumaresan had committed suicide by hanging.
The P.N. Palayam sub-division police have retrieved the body and have registered a case.
