Man found murdered on railway track

The body of a man with serious injuries on head and neck was found on the railway track near Pollachi in the district.
According to police, the man identified as Ramesh, a tailor by profession, did not return home last night.
Some passersby noticed the body lying on the track this morning and immediately informed police, who rushed to the spot.
Police suspect that it could be a murder considering the injuries on him. A case has been registered.
