Man gets life sentence for killing wife

A daily wage labourer was on Wednesday was awarded life sentence for killing his wife some two years ago.
According to prosecution, S. Ravi, an alcoholic, used to have frequent quarrels with his wife Leena. On March 24, 2015 the couple had an argument. That night Ravi strangled Leena to death when she was fast asleep.
The case was going on in the Principal District Court here.
Judge R. Pongiappan awarded life sentence to Ravi for the murder.
