Man killed in road accident

In a tragic accident, a 36-year-old man was killed when his vehicle was hit by a minivan near Poovalaparuthi, in Coimbatore, on Saturday.
According to Police, the deceased, S. Paramasivam Babu, was working as a diesel mechanic in a private college in Coimbatore, and was residing at Karupparayan Koil Street, near Malumichampatti.
On Saturday, while riding his two-wheeler near Poovalaparuthi, his vehicle was hit by a minivan. The impact of the collision threw him off his vehicle. Paramasivam died on the spot.
A case has been registered with the Valaparai Sub Division Police.
