“Manavar Nala Vizha,” a literary, sports and annual day function, was organised at the Government Higher Secondary School, Kovilpalayam, which is one of nine adopted schools by C.R.I. Pumps under its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

P. Ravichandran, Deputy General Manager, C.R.I., who delivered the special address on the occasion, said that the aim is to create a platform for the students to express their talents in cultural events as well as to encourage students to excel in academics, sports and literary events.

C.R.I. has always laid great emphasis on promoting universal and quality education. The main objective behind the school adoption programme was to bridge the gap between Government and private schools in terms of infrastructure, facilities and quality of education imparted, he said.
