Maoists custody extended till January 25

The custody of five maoists lodged in the Central jail was extended till January 25.
The five Maoists including Roopesh and his wife Shyna, were produced before the Principal District Judge, Pongiappan, after expiry of their custody, today.
The Judge extended the judicial custody of the Maoists, who have been detained under NSA.
Meanwhile, the Maoists raised slogans against Tamil film actor, Simbu for his ‘beep song’ reportedly denigrating women and sought his arrest. EOM MAL
