Mason arrested for sexually abusing minor girl

Coimbatore: A 35-year old construction worker was today arrested under POCSO Act, on charges of giving sexual torture to a minor girl in Podanur on the outskirts.
According to police, Kumar, hailing from Udhagamandalam in Nilgiris Disrict and a mason by profession, was reportedly giving sexual torture to a 15-year old girl near the construction site.
Based on the complaints from the parents that Kumar was attempting to sexually assault their daughter, police from All Women Police Station arrested Kumar and after registering case under POCSO Act, remanded him to custody.
